remember 'el chapo' is the world's most powerful drug lord. he escaped from mexican prisons twice before including last summer before he was recaptured in january. since then, he's being held at the maximum security prison near mexico city, now he's in juarez on the border 21 miles away from el paso, texas. the mexican government has moved him as part of a security protocol saying we have rotated more than 7,400 inmates nationwide, as art of a secure measure nationwide. the reason behind this is reinforce security at the prison. sure, jail cell improvements are possible, but a former head of the u.s. drug enforcement says it's because of police concerns. did they catch wind of another jail break? we don't know. he escaped into the tunnel, and since his recapture, unresidents measures have been put in place to keep him up. while 'el chapo''s new home is a newly built prison ran by his cartel. it's another sign 'el chapo' may be extradited to the u.s. where he faces charges. that would be a surprise. mexican initials said that could take a year.
