till coming to terms with her death and also waiting for other families to arrive here in the area loretta lee was the conductor. she's the mother of three, grandmother of five and came from a railroad family with four others in the business. she herself worked her way up from a baggage handler to being a conductor. she just moved to lake tahoe, a prelude to retirement after living in concord for 20 years. her grandson told me the world is a little emptier without her in it. another passenger's niece said he's in the hospital but will be released and allowed to return to his home in elk grove. >> i guess he was thrown from the train. his right arm was messed up really bad. he almost lost his finger. they were able to sew it back on. >> reporter: as we mentioned, federal investigators out at the scene of the deadly crash. 28 people still unaccounted for. authorities say some passengers may have gotten off before the crash or left without checking in with officials. this is a developing story and we'll continue to monitor developments as federal investigators look into what happened before and d

one of the victims killed was loretta lee. in the initial findings, the crossing gates were down, and the flashing warning signals were operating at the time of the collision. >> we will not be determining the probable cause of this accident while we're here on scene. >> the ntsb says the investigation will focus on the truck driver. authorities say skid marks at the railroad crossing suggests the semi driver tried to stop about 300 feet before impact. the train was carrying more than 200 passengers. 80 of whom were transported to hospitals. >>> the man accused of beating giants fan bryan stow is now serving his 10 month prison term for a parole violation in san diego. state prison officials moved geovany ramirez to the correctional center this week. a parol commissioner ruled ramirez had to serve the sentence, because of a gun found where he was staying. he has not been charged with the beating of bryan stow. >>> police are searching for a suspect after a man was found shot and killed near an rv park. it happened about 2:45 t
