so maybe lori, this one? >> so i was honored to have been as you said, the president of asco, and when you are president, you have president-elect, and you are asked to decide what your theme is going to be, and i chose a theme of equity, and i did this before george floyd, before the pandemic, and i wondered if this was going to be welcomed by the oncology community. oh my gosh. this was the time for equity, and i chose it at the time because we all are cancer people, and certainly as a minority oncologist, we're all aware of the disparate outcomes of cancer patients. you think of black males and prostate cancer, over 100% increase in mortality rates compared to white men. you think of black women with breast cancer and a 40% increase in mortality. you think of asians and pacific islanders having twice the incidents of gastro cancer as white americans. you think of hispanic, kids, adolescents having higher risk of leukemia compared to whites. you think of north americans and the higher incidences of g.i. can
