i also want to bring in mayor lori lightfoot of chicago to get her reaction on new york's decision.ery much for being with us. first off, what is your reaction? >> well, unfortunately, not surprising. we were part of an amicus effort on behalf of a number of states in support of the new york law and really focusing on the importance federalism, but unfortunately, given the composition of this court, we're not surprised they struck down the new york law. i think they give ample opportunity for new york and other states to pass other laws that would make common sense restrictions on gun use, particularly people displaying weapons in public, which itself is a threat. i think mayor adams is right. it is going to make it more challenging for police officers across new york state to be able to do their job. it doesn't have any consequences for us here in chicago and it's interesting that it's coming obviously on the heels of the bipartisan effort in the senate. >> i was going to ask you, mayor, any impact on chicago or if you would need to do anything or feel like you would need to do any
