today william lore will be installed. a huge crowd is expected to be here, 2000 people who have tickets who will be here to witness it, including lorie's parents who are from kentucky. the official installation begins today, however, much of the ceremonies began last night. we're going to show you some video of it, a mass at the basilica where lorie prayed at the too many of the first archbishop of baltimore. as you mentioned, this is the oldest archdiocese in the country. cardinal o'brien leaves tomorrow for his new position in rome. he'll formally hand over the oldest bishop cross in the united states to his successor. he introduced lorie to the ba sill basilica. >> it's with deep gratitude with our father that we welcome lorie to the archdiocese of baltimore. i've known arch bishop lorie for many years and has been impressed by so many have by his deep love for the church and the people and his extraordinary work as bishop of bridgeport and as a valued leader on behalf of the united states council of catholic bishops.
