i-95 at lorton. hitting the brakes as well.you're making your way out of prince william northway. it's take 24g minutes to get from prince william parkway. eun, over to you. >> thank you. 6:43. a new video out in the trayvon martin case could be damning to george zimmerman's defense. it shows zimmerman just hours after he shot and killed the florida teenager. you can see him getting out of a police car and getting his pockets searched at the sanford police station. he was attacked by martin and acted in self-defense, but in the video he seems to be walking fine and has no visit blood or woulds on his face or head. zimmerman's father is coming to his defense. he spoke to fox 35 in orlando and backed up claims that zimmerman was injured. he says he wishes things ended differently for martin and his son. >> the whole martin family, i'm sure wish they had done things differently. i'm 64. i've done a lot in my life. i wish trayvon martin would have been able do a lot more with his life. i hope my son can go on and do something with

if you're driving down 95, you'll go through heavy rain around lorton and woodbridge and heavy activity on the east side of 95 going into southern maryland. in fact, we'll zoom into charles county and also st. mary's county. this is a pretty heavy storm. we showed you this earlier hollywood back to leonardtown, no hail involved, but we're seeing rainfall about 3/4-inch per hour moving southeastward toward lexington park and cross 235 and cross solomon in the next half hour. we'll wind out and show you where everything goes in the next hour. you'll see everything move essentially south and southeast this. loses some of its punch. it will roll through southern maryland. you have two batches of showers. the second batch will not be particularly strong is the good news. all right. temperatures still nice, even after the storms have gone through back up to 70 in rockville, 72 gaithersburg, 66 reston, still 72 college park and 69 in beltsville. here's the deal. drying out quickly, thunderstorms ending by 8:00. breezy and cooler tomorrow but still seasonable, nice on friday and yes, a little u
