you are talking about 60 miles or so north of los angeles.the height of commute time this metrolink train was headed south towards los angeles and struck a truck. locals are saying 30 injured. they have nod said of any fatalities. three cars are off to their side. the truck it struck caught fire. some of the pictures on twitter are dramatic of that truck on fire. they shut down the road that runs parallel. there are the pictures of the train hitting the truck. you can see a high commute area as people head from the oxnard-ventura area into the san fernando valley and into los angeles, generally. train service is basically stopped from the north and they can only go to camarillo from the south. if you know lax that's a big deal for people. the truck caught fire and basically burned to the ground. we don't know if the driver survived or if he's injured. but the train struck that vehicle and it caused problems. we have seen 5 6 7 people being treated at the same time as we watched our live pictures coming in from fox 11. we are told 30 injured.
