move over to our maps to start with what looks likely we are learning here as a downed tree in los altos hillsn northbound 280 near page mill road, impacting the freeway there. sounds like the tree came down and as a result there was a crash shortly afterwards. we are looking at a couple of lanes blocked in the area because of that. sausalito, new reports of a rockslide southbound on 101 at rodeo. this came in maybe in the last already seconds and sausalito. moving over to another issue we are following impacting half moon bay, mudslide on westbound 92, where all westbound lanes are blocked. this is what we are seeing this morning. not necessarily the spin outs but more so the environmental impact. trees coming down, rockslide's impacting people who need to get to work or school this morning. be careful out there. san jose, 101. local reports of traffic lights being out. it's a four-way stop with everything out. and a live look here at the bridge where there is a wind advisory in effect for most if not al i think we're on to something big here. -just the two of us. -standing together as one. -

throughout the evening hours and the night tonight, the south bay gusting to 36 now in cupertino, los altos hills. 44 mile an hour gust over the santa cruz mountains. you're seeing some 30 40 mile an hour gusts. half moon bay just had a 45 my an hour look at that in the civic up 60 mile an hour gusts there along the coastline. there in the valley. so, yeah, it is just kind of ripping all around the bay area. and that's the concern with this deep area of low pressure. it's just going to get intense throughout the night tonight and into tomorrow morning. then it looks like it will begin to back off. right now. we're seeing tremendous amount of water coming down to go along with that watching out for the possibility of flash flooding tonight, mudslides, a likelihood but really just kind of messy weather all around the bay area. you see how intense the cells are that are moving through right now. in fact, some of those cells were checking some of the rain rates. we've had some rain rates over an inch and a half an hour. and there you go. that was a 2 and a half inches. get rain rates like that. that'

los altos with the heavy rain as well. that's going to stay in san jose through 7:43. and then we're seeing it continue through morgan hill, gilroy, los gatos as well through the next hour. as we head through tonight, i think by about 11:30, we may undergo a few breaks here with some isolated moderate and heavier pockets. a little bit of a break here overnight as well. and dry pocket. but then by tomorrow morning, we're going get hit again with the heavier rain from the north bay right on down through the peninsula. so when it comes to this weather this evening, we're still under the flood watch here for all the bay area. and as i've been stressing, really, the folks that need to stay on the most alert here is if you have a creek, stream or river directly in your backyard or, you know, a half mile or so away, because that's what it is the big issue tonight we could see some of that flash flooding from all of this rain. it has to go somewhere. so again, a flood watch for the entire bay area. but the biggest risk is anyone living near a creek, stream, or river. as we talked about, a flood warning, what looks to be imminent

they're open at libraries in cupertino, milpitas , saratoga, morgen hill, gilroy and two libraries in los altos. most of them are open until nine o'clock tonight and tomorrow to help people avoid hypothermia during this storm. santa cruz county has declared a local emergency in response to the storm, which has already caused an estimated $10 million in damage this storm and the previous storm. the storms last week caused widespread flooding and mudslides. and here you see some major damage in the santa cruz mountains where glenwood road just collapsed, just one of several roadways that have failed across the county. that disaster declaration will allow the county to seek emergency funding from the state will stay with us. our storm watch coverage continues down in the pen. then select we caught up with one cemetery, a resident who got hurt during the last storm to find out his concerns for this system. plus we're talking with pg and need to find out about their plan of attack and what you should know. after the rain moves through, plus, how about some calm before the storm? check out this peace

they are the libraries in cupertino, milpitas, saratoga, morgan hill, gilroy and two libraries in los altos'clock tonight. to help people stay warm and dry . time is 4 18 in santa barbara county. they're bracing for flash flooding and winds up to 60 miles an hour and then the burn scar areas. evacuation orders have been issued. the national weather service has issued a flash flood watch. for santa barbara county with an estimate of 4 to 8 inches of rain within 24 hours. with isolated areas of the county anticipated to possibly reach 10 inches of rain. as a result of the evacuation order to been issued in areas affected by the recent wildfires, sheriff's deputies and members of the rescue teams are knocking on the doors of people who live in those areas, advising them to leave. also in santa barbara sailboat washed ashore because of strong winds and high waves. here it is forecasters want people to know about the seriousness of the storms and the impact on the ocean currents . the heaviest portion of the storms expected to continue to hit the central coast through this morning. alright 4 19
