i can tell you this morning many los gatos neighbors are upset. the concern over the new store drew a big crowd to last night's town council meeting. residents say they weren't given enough notice about a gun store in the neighborhood. templar sports on university avenue will offhand guns shot guns and rifles with fishing equipment and sports good. some neighbors are asking the town council to enact a law to prohibit gun sales or require a conditional use permit. critics say the store will make them feel less safe. >> i do not feel safe under the current lack of gun control. >> like to see if there's any way that we can get these people who own this to give us some sort of guarantee that maybe they won't sell clips that hold 100 bullets. >> supporters for the new store say this is a much-needed local business. they speak highly of the management and say the store is not near any schools. the town council will take up the issue of conditional use permits in february. one major gun retailer is taking action. dick's sporting goods is pulling certain
