police in los gatos are investigating more than a dozen car break-in's and other thefts.y case the thieves targeted unlocked vehicles.. all in one night. police say most of the thefts happened in neighborhoods all within a mile of each other including truman avenue... elmhurst drive and oakhurst drive. thieves were also able to get into garages if the homeowners left a door opener inside the car. polcie say you should always lock your car... remove important personal belongings... and consider getting an alarm system if you don't have one.
