north america is absolutely the biggest loser. bakken shale, the average sell cost is break even $40 to $70. every well is different. we can drill down and give you an analysis on specific wells. citigroup put together an analysis of three different wells. they say, okay, look, you invested $8 million in a well that produces 400 million barrels a day. however, if you invested $8 million in wells that produce 500 barrels a day, you only need an oil price of $55 in order to break even on that well. 700 only needs $60. that's why you see such a range. there's another way to look at what is break even price. what about break even prices for governments. remember, the u.s. government isn't necessarily so funded by oil prices, but places like saudi arabia, russia, venezuela, nigeria, they sure are. venezuela needs a price of $121 per barrel to balance the budget. russia needs $102 at this point. so these are all the losers. who's the biggest winner? by far, india. appears to be the most economically sensitive to the oil. they support 57
