last night, lou dobbs of the fox business network spoke with congressman joe walsh about government spending. here's some of that interview. >> i didn't attend the president's joint session a couple of weeks ago on his jobs plan. i went home. >> i remember that. i bet he does, too. >> he does, too. and we sent him a letter. i talked to 110 small businessmen and women and i asked them, why aren't you hiring? what do you want out of your government when it comes to a jobs policy? one of the recommendations was government's got to stop spending all this money. they've got to get their books in order. because these guys know event l eventually it's going to hit them. >> books in order. dividing you all, as best as i can discern is an offset against 3 1/2 or $7 billion whether it comes to fema funding and the sweeten sweetener, apparently at this point put forward by republican leadership is $100 million reduction in funding for the green plan that funded solyndra? i mean, surely there can't be this kind of drama around such a pittance, comparative pittance when we're talking about a trillion dol

lou dobbs said he should resign from that kind of comment.the flip side, it's hard to get more fiscally conservative than christie. he has talked about entitlement reform. he has an ability to shoot straight without being partisan and it would make me really happy. >> all right. pa tisha? >> i would tell christie do not take the bait. they wanted jon huntsman to run, pi they wanted rick perry to run, he's not conservative enough. and chris christie would not be perfect enough for these activists. his climate change is a significant problem for him. he says it's real and manmade. that's a nonstarter for a lot of these activists. would tell chris christie to stay in office. he's not there long enough. stay in office. do not run. just stay where you are. >> all right. second question. facebook filing paperwork now to create its own political action committee. what do you think? will it impact the race? will? >> this is a group of employees pulling their money together to have a louder voice. i tell you what i wish. i wish that companies did not

attorney in new jersey, the job the held before governor, back in 2008 a producer on lou dobbs now deceased cnn show could only find 13 illegal immigration cases prosecuted in the chris christie's office between 2002- 2007. in kansas, despite a much smaller population, prosecuted 597 cases. what is your reaction? caller: my reaction is this. until we secure the borders, you cannot do anything about the illegal. because the problem is, we would deport them and a month later they were back again. host: was specifically about chris christie. do you have any concerns with what you heard there? caller: no, no. like i said, we have many problems in this country. one of the things -- beyond that. one of the things that worries me is the way this country is headed. it is headed toward socialism and making everyone equally poor like they did in cuba. and the government taking over every aspect of your life. that is what obama stands for. and i do not like that. i said that from the beginning, from when he started running, to many people around me. also another thing about obama -- my daughter and lo

we will do what needs to be done to put them into meaningful employment, get the lou dobbs and so on and so forth. i want to put that out because the commitment doesn't just come from one level. it is from the top across the board. statistics. 18 to 26%. as of august this year we had 877,000 veterans unemployed. out of that, employment rate of 7% is actually what the total percentage is right now. it gets to 26% for the 18 to 24 years old at certain level when they get out. however after a while that percentage starts going down. i wasn't prepared to give you that. i promise i will get you -- whoever is interested, let me know. the bottom line is i want you to understand who is our fetterman. everyone of you know what our young men and women are going through. when i say them i am not just talking about 18 through 24 or 18 through 30. i am talking the 18-year-old to 64-year-old to the person who has done what needed to be done and put their lives out there for us and now find at 54 years old they can't find a job and haven't had a job for 10 or 12 years. so they go into homelessness.
