loudoun county will vote on a proposal to bring a 5,500-seat mine or league baseball county in the stadiumild it, will too many people come? kimberly suiters is here. >> i guess that's a problem a lot of towns would like to have. today a vote whether or not to create a ballpark in loudoun county. there are those who say this plan hasself strikes geps it and others who say it is an absolute home run. the proposal is to build it here, on this 400-acre, undeveloped tract of land near the intersection of routes 7 and 28. there could also be a hotel, restaurants and a retail center, a mixed-use area. those crying foul say they're concerned about traffic. but monday night, a small rally of supporters gathered at the county board of supervisors public meeting. even the little leaguers kept their caps on inside to show support for a ballpark. one proponent said no matter what is developed in this space, there will be traffic. in his view, a ballpark is the best reason to have it. >> i did not hear one person of the 33,000 people that came by -- and i stood there, kept on seeing "support baseball."

. >>> tonight, the international crime-fighting agency interpol is attracting a loudoun county woman charged in connection with a $50 million mortgage fraud scheme. stephen tschida is live from leesburg with that story. >> detectives are working with international investigators, trying to track down a local realtor who is believed to have defrauded more than 100 home buyers and numerous mortgage lenders out of as much as $50 million. we went to the home of the real- estate agent. new renters moved in a month ago. she apparently left in a hurry. >> it looked messy when we came in. >> with investigators closing in, she apparently fled the country. tonight, she is charged with fraud, racketeering, and money laundering. >> $50 million is the rough estimate that the lenders are out over two years. m investors say she took on clients often with bad credit and allegedly put her own money into their accounts to inflate their credit scores, and she also falsified it earnings data for them. many of the buyers were immigrants with limited language skills. they bought homes they cannot afford. t
