news 6 investigator louis bolden tells us how to settle damage disputes coming up tonight at 11:00. i worry about that all the time. it looks like good news for chipotle today. >> the c.d.c. announced this afternoon the outbreak of e. coli at the chain restaurants is closed. it looks like it's over but they still don't know what caused it. 60 customers in several different states recording getting sick after eating at chipotle. no deaths have been reported. the company is planning big discounts for the super bowl weekend to help win back customers and they're closing all restaurants for a short time next monday to have a company wide food safety meeting with employees. by the way, the stock jumped up very nicely today, too. good news for them all around. toyota says it's had to stop production at the assembly plants in japan for a week because of a parts shortage. the shortfall was caused by an explosion last month at one of the company's steel suppliers. toyota reports the shutdown will run from february 8th through the 13th. the company produced an average of more than 60,000 cars

news 6 investigator louis bolden developments on this case as well. he will have more on the case with the many twists and turns, coming up on news 6 at 6:00. >> a plane goes down in a backyard in north florida. we've learned the plane was on its way to leesburg when it crashed. pictures from the scene showed the damage this caused here. this was in palatka, not far from jacksonville. one person was taken to a hospital. we checked and found the plane is registered to an owner in north carolina. we'll continue to follow this and bring you updates as we get them. >> now to a hit and run crash in orange county involving a semi truck. tonight troopers want to find that semi driver. we're told the truck hit teresa vasquez this morning, between kirkman and john young. she was a pedestrian at the time and hospitalized in serious condition right now. troopers tell us the driver stopped until emergency vehicles arrived but then took off before troopers could talk to him. semi with a white trailer. so far they have not given a description of the driver. >> this
