today i want to pay tribute to a great friend of the city of louisville. a giant in both business and philanthropy who made kentucky products famous around the globe and man who i was proud to call a friend for more than 30 years. it is with great sadness that i report to my senate colleagues that osley brown ii passed away at the age of 69. he will be mourned and missed by many, not only by his family and those fortunate enough to know him, but also by countless louisvilleans who did not get to meet the man personally but benefited from his numerous volunteer efforts and initiatives on behalf of our community. osley brown ii was born in 1942, the son of william lee lions brown and sally schaumburger brown who herself passed away a few months ago at the age of 100, as i noted one time on the senate floor. after graduating from yale university and stanford university's graduate school of business, osley spent 37 years at brown foreman, a company his great-grandfather founded, including 12 years as chief executive and 12 years as chairman. he started at brow

indianapolis, cool there for you and louisville back up towards chicago, maybe just light rain for you. the steadier heavier rains are in northern michigan. much as a chance of showers but steady rains are over. high wind information, the blue is where we're dealing with wind advisories. don't expect a lot of damage but where you have the light blue along the chicago area around lake shore also we had some earlier today around saginaw, that's where we have high wind warnings in effect. that's because you get the air coming over the lake and there's nothing to block it. no trees. flat surface, the winds will be higher. the case this morning. 37 in chicago, saginaw gusting now to 43 so those are impressive gusts. leaves on the tree, that's where we could get downed tree limbs. a breezy day today but not like our friends dealing with it in the great lakes. showers, a few around buffalo and we'll have a little in the catskills and maybe drizzle from new york city to hartford but that will be about it. our friends are very cold. 32 in kansas city, this storm has a little bit of everything.

it's going to be a beautiful weekend from louisville to atlanta down toward the beaches in florida.g to the theme parks, no weather worries here. we see a few showers across upstate new york, but it's going to be a morning event. more range in the pacific northwest from seattle to portland, kind of holding your temperatures down a little bit. 65 degrees in billings. 65 in chicago. it's going to be a warm one in dallas, 83 degrees. of course, we have the world series returning to arlington where we have the chance for showers and storms over the weekend. in fact, we have it for sunday, as well. mainly a morning event here. little rock, arkansas, a couple showers around the great lakes for sunday. looks fantastic from boston towards savannah, georgia. a couple showers possible in extreme south florida. take a look at the temperatures. it's going to be warming up across the plains. 75 in k.c., 60 degrees in new york city. not too far off the average for this time of the year. but keeping it cool with the clouds around seattle with your temperatures in the mid 50s. cool enough for snow
