on the republican side, iowa republicans love paul ryan.s viewed favorably by 73% of republicans. versus just 10% who view him unfavorably. they also like mike huckabee who last week said he may be open to another presidential rud. two-thirds view him favorably. different story for ted cruz. less than 50% of iowa republicans view him favorably. and chris christie doesn't fair that well either with the highest unfavorables among republicans in the entire poll. i guess he's too east coast. on the democratic side, iowa's ready for hillary. nine out of ten democrats view her favorably. that shows who's leading the pack there. we'll be right back. e mail man . i don't leave the shop anymore. "nebraska" is really my favorite film and i'm married to a guy from iowa and even he loved it.lly a great film. you got to wait for 10 minutes, kind of get into it and once you're in it, it's funny, it's better than you would think it would be and everybody is saying to me, they are stopping me on the street and saying it's so much funnier than i thought it would be. the other one is "saving mr. banks." >> you loved that one? >> it reminds us that we all carry our baggage from our childhood with us in every situation and that's what happened to the woman who wrote the story in mary poppins, very well done. >> i watched "american hustle" and i'm so behind. i think the last movie i saw was the first catching fire movie but that's okay. very sexy movie, amazing costumes, great acting. the plot is a little all over the place but -- >> yeah. it is good, though. it's very visual and the costumes are going to probably win for best costumes. >> definitely. >> they are so fabulous. and the hair styles, especially that combover, pretty amazing. yeah. and it's a fun film. it's well paced.

i loved going in people's homes when we first started campaigning for president. i went to iowa a lot and florida in the beginning. those were the two primaries. and i had been working in our farm supply business at home. we got home from the navy, jimmy had me. i didn't work the first year. i started helping him. he only had seasonal labor. i started working for them and said, why don't you keep the office while i visit the farmers? and so i would go into iowa to a tea. there might be six people in somebody's house. i knew the price of fertilizer. i knew how much they could get for their corn. we had a corn mill. i mean, i loved it. it was hard. but i was so excited. i had been able to learn about georgia and i learned about the country. i thought -- i knew he would be a good president. >> mrs. carter, when did you know during that campaign that your husband would be elected president? >> i never doubted it. he never -- we never doubted it. i don't think anybody in our whole campaign thought we would lose. maybe you have to have that set of mind to win. because we campaigned al

love obamacare. but others are saying no this will come to the fore. bill: his disapproval rating in iowa is 59%. according to this poll that's the rating quinnipiac has found yet. is that the economy or is it the indecision about obamacare or both? >> it's probably both those those things. you have a politicized environment in iowa. they are already hearing stuff about the republican primaries. there are an enormous number of polling numbers for this president. the thing that's galling or interesting is president obama lost the uninsured. the supposed beneficiaries of this thing say they don't like obamacare fan obamacare is bad for them. that's an amazing number and it shows you the utter failure of the rollout. bill: the uninsured are the ones looking for insurance. the logic is the more they found out about it, the more they do not like it. >> it's like people who go to a soup kitchen and they don't like the soup. it's an amazing indictment of what this law was intended to do. the unexpected consequences of this law will continue to bring out. the idea that bringing in a guy from microsoft is

love is the clear front-runner for the seat. in a day when so many of the congressional seats are jerry mandered, these open swing seats in iowa's third and virginia's 10th are unusual. the president won the district by less than four points with 51% of the vote and a more narrow margin. mitt romney won by a percentage point with less than 50% overall in a state that the president won overall. they are the swingiest of swing states. expect both to be nationalized and special groups to get involved and virginia because it's so close to the capital and the 2016 presidential season is gearing up. these two district races will be good bell weathers on election night to see the places you will be able to look at to see which does have a better chance at winning the big enchilada in 2016. they are winning districts like this. they will try to nationalize all three. the national republican committee said this. this is a warning signal to democrats saying that matheson who didn't even vo et for obamacare's original passage knows he can't run and win. imagine how bad 2014 will be for the vast majority of democrat who is supported on obam
