san francisco low 50s to kick off the morning.50s and upper 40s to our north. by the afternoon, the heat will be on, getting to the upper 80s to low 90s up to the north. getting into the upper 90s to triple digits over near livermore. that is about 10 degrees shy of their record high temperature for the day. it will be a hot one. unfortunately with the heat comes heat advisory. the national weather service put the heat advisory in place for the east bay communities and inland areas where we are expecting temperatures upper 90s to low 100s. that is dangerous. if you spent time outdoors, take breaks in the shade. drink plenty of fluids and have sunscreen and don't forget the sunglasses. sunglasses are necessary. what is also necessary in san francisco, i found, is a jacket. that jacket is not going to be needed anywhere else in california. getting into the mid- to upper-hundreds in southern california. very happy we don't have to deal with that hot of temperatures. we are not going to be close to record breaking. san francisco 70 th

expect more fog across the bay area low to our south and another low to our north, both adjacent to us and really kind of nudging out that high pressure ridge a little bit. we're also saying hello to a southwesterly breeze on into the bay. so this is scooting even on into the interior, like out into the delta enough to cool areas out of those heat advisory categories. only the south and in north end of the central valley still qualify for those. as for our winds, they will be around 15 to 20 miles per hour for most of the day. not too much of a breeze, but just enough to that refreshing wind from the coastline really coming in and intruding more and more further inland. and that will help a lot of us out. only a couple holdouts for the stimulant that will hang on to the low 90's. it's 50's to 60's at the coast today and then 70's to 80's for most of the rest of us saying carlos 78 degrees, san jose, you'll be at 82 degrees. one of our biggest drops in temperatures livermore down to 87 today, which is still warm lot better than yesterday's triple digits. you got up to oakland right at 7

and more widely, looking at those temperatures, the high teens or the low 20s. into monday, again, we've got a bit more cloud and rain across the far northwest of the uk. but for the bulk of the country, it's another dry day and it's going to feel quite warm and more humid by this stage. so temperatures for central and southeastern areas, 27 degrees or so. i think we'll all be sitting in the 20s for a time. so this is how the jet stream is looking. it plunges towards the south, out to the west of the uk, and that's going to develop an area of low pressure, pushing it our way as we head on into tuesday. but before it gets there with that position of the jet stream, that's going to draw up some warm, humid airahead of any midweek rain. so for tuesday, we're likely to start off on a dry note. there'll still be some warm sunshine around, but you'll notice the blue colours developing as low pressure tries to creep its way in from the south and the west, i think. so that will keep things perhaps a little bit cooler across the north west of the uk. but we're still look
