underneath that fog and low cloud cover, kind of keeps everybody on an even playing field, low to mid-50s in the santa clara valley, same thing inland in the east bay, coastal temperatures maybe a little closer to 50 degrees, 51 half moon bay. everybody's temperatures tomorrow morning within 2 or 3 degrees of normal for this time of year and the cool spots in the north bay valleys are dropping down to or barely below 50 degrees early tomorrow morning and then temperatures warm up, good looking dog walking forecast for a couple good looking pups, shady and pawnee bringing us the dog walking forecast for tomorrow. they leave in san jose where the morning cloud cover doesn't last long. should make up to the mid- to upper 70s tomorrow afternoon, good dog walking weather across the board, temperatures coolest near the coast, around 60 there, mostly 60s and a few low 70s around the bay with a mix of 70s and a few low 80s farther inland and the warmer spots a couple degrees above 80 by tomorrow afternoon. the winds pick up late afternoon hours. you can see the strongest gusts mid to late aft

low 70s around oakland. one more day of low 80s in san jose. then as we move forward to monday, those numbers start to come down a little bit. so inland locations briefly drop in the low 80s and the temperatures are going to rebound again as we head towards tuesday. and again now by wednesday, solano county could be close to those upper 80s to near 90 degrees, low to mid 80s around san jose, 60s and 70s again around san francisco and oakland. that's going to be high pressure wednesday and thursday. it's that midweek warm up now. we've seen three weeks in a row with some coastal low clouds heading towards next weekend. right now doesn't look like much . just have to watch for some isolated sierra thunderstorms for the afternoon. but bay area wise, we're kind of in a summer pattern now with inland temperatures in the 70s and 80s. san francisco looking at more low clouds. cloudy start. not the best place for trying to catch some of aurora viewing tonight around the inner bay or coast. inland areas will be pretty good though, as you see. just a ver

sfo right now seeing 57 degrees, a little low cloud cover there near san mateo, and patchy low clouds around san francisco 53 degrees. so tomorrow morning, patchy low clouds, areas of drizzle possible. speaking of santa cruz, down along the south coast and parts of the south bay clearing, but turning windy for sunday afternoon and then a brief early week warm up on the way in the 7-day forecast. look at the wind right now into solano county that continues to bring in that marine air, but it's the wind on the coast will be watching for the afternoon. these areas in red showing up bodega bay, sonoma coast, marin county coastline could see those gusts 30 to 40mph. and also san francisco and down the peninsula for the afternoon. by mid afternoon and evening wind speeds starting to pick up a little bit like today, but more intense in terms of those peak gusts around the north bay coastline as we wrap up the weekend. so look at the effects on the low cloud cover. it's going to act a bit like a leaf blower. it's going to mix in some drier air and start to clear the low clouds. once we pass t

san francisco's holding steady with the low clouds and fog and highs in the low 60s.ike now you have a new alert. yeah, it's friday light. like you said for most of the bay. but here, as one of our two alerts going on, this is eastbound 92 coming over to the hayward side. we had an issue. and then things started moving smoothly. but once emergency vehicles got there, they stopped all traffic. so they can address this issue over on the shoulder. so this is going on temporary. we're told that means chp does not imagine they're going to take much longer to clear this incident. but i'm tracking the impact because also the build on the westbound direction, distracted by the folks they can see clearly on the other side. so this is impacting the speed sensors on the san mateo bridge. the incident blocked eastbound 92. eastbound 80 for the dumbarton bridge is open for now in light traffic flows around the bay, so we'll watch that again. eastbound 92. avoid that for the time being. and then we're looking at north 680, which continues with this crash involving a boat on a trail

we got numbers in the upper 70s to low 80s, nice and comfortable, 60s to low 70s around oakland and moving forward temperatures are about to rebound again. not much change on monday, but watch those inland east bay temperatures tuesday and wednesday back into those upper 80s and low 90s midweek as high pressure builds in peek strength likely to be wednesday and thursday. if you do have travel plans for the sierra, there's a chance we may begin to see a few isolated thunderstorms. that's typical for this time of year with the daytime heating, but no rain in the forecast here around the bay area. and other than the drizzle, at least a mostly dry weekend, most of that drizzle along the inner bay and coastline for the morning hours. san francisco closer to 70 by midweek and numbers climbing into the mid 80s and upper 80s by tuesday and wednesday. and i should also point out the chance of these geomagnetic storms could continue into sunday night and monday morning. so we may have three nights of this with potential aurora viewing around the bay area. watch that closely. so cool. thanks, rob. ok
