by friday, we're seeing upper 70s for san jose, low 80s for the south county, as well as low to mid 80s working your way up toward fairfield and vacaville 90 in ukiah. so we're going to see those temperatures heating up as high pressure returns across the region. and that's going to give us a very warm weekend. and this high will be slow to move. so i do think that once the heat comes back it will last a while. and we take a look at morgan hill, our high today, 75 degrees and a slow climb in temperatures through the end of the week. but we do get a big boost in those highs into the first day of fall on sunday and monday. our first full day of fall will be 96 degrees, so i know it's kind of backwards, but we're going to see one more spike in temperatures and hopefully that's it. but it will feel like summer as we officially welcome in fall and also warming up in san francisco. mike, you've got an incident as you exit the bay bridge. yeah. you talked about higher temperatures. it's cooler overnight. and so there may be the reason for this warming fire reported just off the bay bridge exit
