low clouds pack e scouthring out later in the day the usual summertime pattern, coastal low cloud tonightmorning fog tomorrow morning, some drizzle along the shoreline, warm inland, cooler near the coast, near seasonal for the rest of the week. overnight lows, 50 at santa rosa, 51 at napa, 53 degrees at livermore, 57 in san jose. forecast highs for tomorrow will be pretty close to seasonal averages. in fact, after this heat spike yesterday concord will be below average at 81 degrees. the south bay begins with low clouds and quickly gives way to sunshine, 80 degrees, 78 in sunnyvale, 83 morgan hill, very pleasant in the east bay for monday, low 80s, but as warm as 89 at brentwood. in the north bay close to the shore line plenty of low clouds tomorrow, a little slow burning off and mid-70s. still smoking in more ways than one way up in lake county, ukiah hitting 92 degrees, lakeport 94 and 93 degrees at clearlake. in the extended forecast the numbers are back to mid-80s for the most part inland. watch what happens toward the latter half of the week. we approach the weekend and once again we

we haven't seen numbers this low since 1973. it's a sign that we have a very strong, very healthy, and a growing economy. people are keeping their jobs, are getting new and better jobs, and people get laid off and want to change jobs, they get a new one right away. they don't need to go on unemployment. they don't need to collect unemployment insurance because we have a strong, healthy, and growing american economy right now. in fact, the labor department said there are now 6.7 million job openings across the country. it is an all-time high. for the first time ever, there are actually more job openings than there are unemployed people who are looking for work. 6.7 million openings, 6.3 million job hunters. so when you look at some of these measures, the american economy isn't just stronger than it was before the recession, it's stronger than it's been in decades. the federal reserve bank of atlanta says that we're on a pace for the economy to grow more than 4% in the second quarter of this year. they actually say as high as 4.6%
