specifically if you look at the low income borrowers, the second box here, low income home owners comes to 19% for total home owners and receive only 8% of the total mortgage lending and only 7% of bank lending. and moving to the last section of minority borrowers, we see that the share of mortgage lending is slightly higher than the share of home owners. this reflects the fact that for minorities, particularly for hispanics and asians their younger than the population, and prime home buying ages. but even with this lower bank lending, both lacks the mortgage lending share, as well as the share for home owners. now, let's take-- let's take a deeper dive into the minority. if we break down the group by their race and ethnicity. we see that black borrowers are particularly underrepresented compared to current home ownership, especially in bank lending, so, specifically, banks consist of 32.6% of all home owners in low income neighborhoods, but only receive 17.9% of total mortgage lending and 17.4% of bank mortgage lending. for hispanic and asian borrowers, as i just mentioned, because the
