gm power-train workers returned to their jobs. after a temporary shut down at the plant. for the diner, that meant the return of dozens of loyal customers. >> they bring money. i mean, people have the means to keep the money going. >> gm power-train that makes transition hybrid parts for general motors is one of the area's largest employers. back in may the plant was forced to shut down for two months as part of gm's overall restructuring plan. a plan that came to fruition today as gm announced it is out of bankruptcy and back in business. >> the plant is part of the long-term future of the corporation. and certainly changes have been made to bring the best parts of the corporation and make that part of the future gm. >> while gm begins i its road to success not everyone will be along for the ride. about 60 gm power-train workers laid off before the shut down. are still without jobs. >> people are. they will have to make a big decision in their lives whether they want to have -- feel confident enough to come back or cash out and move on. >> in the meantime, it appears there won't be any more shut downs any time soon. and that
