and i am so proud of loyola university of chicago for doing that. i encourage other schools to offer the same opportunities for these extraordinary daca students to continue to be part of america. the second person i want to mention is a hero that is of a special nature. she was tragically missing from low ola campus this last weekend. her name is arianna preston. on sunday, she was set to receive their masters of jurisprudence from loyola school of law, but just days before her graduation ceremony, she was shot and killed outside of her home, right as she was returning home from a late shift on patrol. officer preston was one of the best of chicago. at only 24 years of age, she severned the police department for three years and during her time on the force, she worked to build trust between law enforcement and the communities she served. officer preston was inspired to become a police officer after making a trip to europe as part of her undergraduate criminality studies. her class visited former concentration camps in germany and poland, the sites
