luba lusherobic was found alive. every day since sunday the search teams grew and so did the the family's fears. she was off canyon creek road less than half a mile from her home. >> i went walking around the area calling for luba and happened to look into the drainage creek bed. there she was. she waved at mef. >> she's a good old grandmother, my mother. we love her. we're happy to have her back. >> we are told this was only ammo's fourth search ever. luba had been sleeping in the creek bed for three nights with no medication, food or water. amazingly she had only scratches and poison oak. new details about a deadly fall. the man who died has been identified. sean carington was one of three people who fell 300 feet. the other victims were transported to a trauma center with serious injuries. rangers say they often see people in areas of the park off limits. >> every day we see people going to the fence. going over the cliffs. >> authorities have not said what led to the fall or what the victims were doing in the par

after four days of searching rescue crews found 77-year-old luba wisherowitz. she never returned home on wednesday. they found her this afternoon in san ramone. it's not far from her home. kpix 5's mark kelly tells us the woman was found because a dog put searchers on the right track. >> reporter: this is why search and rescue crews do this kind of work. >> words just can't express how happy we are. >> reporter: 173 volunteers, thousands of man hours and four days after she wandsered from the home in san ramone. she was found safe and sound. >> i mean i was going to say it's a miracle. [ applause ] >> reporter: it's thanks to the i think stints of a yellow lab and the training of its owner. the volunteers from the california rescue dog association found luba behind a home along norris canyon road. >> it was a little creek and i looked down and i called her name and saw her and she waved her arm and i went down and held her hand. and it was the best feeling in the world. >> reporter: police credit everyone's specialized training. >> these are incredibly extraord
