i want to recognize things that happen in this city we are a very incredible lucky city for all the things that happen to us. this is one of the moments that recognize all of these special elements that come together modernization, this brand new station, and the firemen and women who will be here and take care of this city as you always have. thank you for making this happen. appreciate it. we're lucky here in the city to be next to some of the richest fishing grounds in the world. our local waters team with salmon, crab, hal butt, saul and hering. they're managed for the most part in great shape. it makes it possible for our small family owned portfolio boats to make a good living. these top of the line products combine with local market street makes it a win/win for the local consumers. tourists come from around the world to eat at our famess seafood restaurants and see the boats. the fishermen and women add genuine color and tradition. salmon season has been one of the best in the last decade bringing transient boats to fill the slips, buy ice, dine in our bars and restaurants and unload their salmon. all this commercial generates millions of dollars for the local economy. it also helps to make fisherman's wharf a world class destination. the fleet thanks you for all your support. i'm sure my great-great, many more greats grandson will be here to congratulate you on your 300th anniversary. i've been, of course, very lucky to be the mayor of this great city. we've had a innovation of great history whether for humans rights or same-sex marriage that's been that spirit in our city. we never left regional or national problems get to us. but i found i've been lucky to the mayor we were faced with very traditionally financial systems that were not going to save us from the likes of detroit and stockton and others. we were really looking at whether we were going to continue to do the same thanks that would bring others into financial problems. i took the realm hoping that all of my years of experience i could have confidence and billed the spirit where we weren't trying to blame each other and except where we are and find the talented the magic between the board of supervisors and at the mayor's office but then the fiscal talent in the city that business talent in the city bring them together with all the neighborhood leaders and find solutions and create those things in ways we, talk about the problems and see the facts. i think that's incredi
