good evening i'm lucy noland. >> i'm iain page. morning commute could be tricky. let's get over to meteorologist caitlin roth. caitlin. >> that's right. on the heels of a beautiful weekend lucy even yann we have rain an lot of it moving for monday morning. so if you can give yourself extra time before you hit the roads for the rush getting the kids ready for school. going need it because probably be delays on the roadways even possibly at the airport too. so here's what we're dealing with the beginning of the showers just starting to move in to our western suburbs some of this not making it to the ground yet that will fill in overnight and we'll start to have the steadier showers push in by day break. here's what we're anticipating. fox future cast shows the rain filling in and by about 7:00 a.m. the beginning of the commute you can see really heavy patches of rain over the philadelphia area and it doesn't take much at this time. so you know what the heavy rain going on for a couple of hours it is going to cause some problems. so probably from about 6:00 a.m. to 1
