lujan: it is a pleasure to be here. go ahead with the first question. , republicansan currently have their largest majority in generations and many believe that the democrat's chance of winning back the house are slimmer than slim. 2016?s your goal for victoryld qualify as a and can democrats win back the house? rep. lujan: it will be a different year. one was a larger turnout, it's generally better for you candidates. most pundits, especially inside the beltway, are saying there will be a floor of eight to 10 seats that will be picked up and it does not seem that anyone is pressing against that. if that is the floor, it depends on what the battleground would look like. i believe that will be in play. what does that look for the ultimate numbers. i do not have a crystal ball. there seems to be no question we will win seat. as we look at the battlegrounds across the country, starting with the 23 that president obama narrowly lost in seats out in utah, i think those made the race very close. he is working very hard alread

ben ray lujan. mr. lujan: good morning, everyone. i think what we're seeing yet again as our chairman and vice chairman remind us about the responsibility of governing is how house republicans have demonstrated all year that they cannot govern responsibly on behalf of hardworking everyday americans, putting infighting over governing and reckless positions over progress. the republican party is broken and speaker boehner's resignation is the starkest and most high profile example of that dysfunction and chaos. it's disturbing that speaker boehner was somehow not conservative enough for many of our republican colleagues. but let's be clear. this is not a speaker boehner problem. it's a republican problem. this is a republican conference problem. and the next speaker will face the same stark choice as boehner. go along with the extreme base or get run over by them the right wing is emboldened right now and that will only continue to grow as we approach big, upcoming deadlines. raising the debt ceil, extenders, highway trust fund, extend

lujan grisham: mr. wynne, hat can congress do to provide help for this model, what can we do to enhance these efforts? mr. wynne: i appreciate the question. the point i've been laboring to articulate here is that the economic opportunity is not just immediate. it needs to be sustainable. and so all of the questions that we're discussing, in technology we call a buynary conversation. really cool technology could do a lot of really cool stuff but we have safety questions. we go through this with every technology, pretty much. the same kind of questions mr. geiger is bringing up can be applied on a technology specific basis to license plate readers, it can be applied to body cameras. they can be applied to a bunch of different technology contexts. the industry needs to do this in a way that's sustainable. otherwise it won't work. and i agree with mr. misener when he said, it's in our interest to make sure our customer's privacy is protected and it's in our interest also as an industry to make certain that

lo lujan. what is being done differently? what do you think a sustainable? representative wasserman schultz: as far as soul-searching, i have been searching our broader just broader review that needs to be shown to make sure we are in midterm elections as well. we have seen that we are able in the country supports our party's agenda. we won last five out of the six presidential elections. the confidence of america's voters. in midterm elections there is not the same consistency in turn come to the polls. we had work to do. we have been going there and the valuation of the national party. did a comprehensive review. we continue to afford to address some of those things, particularly in strengthening parties in making sure we raise the four on the professionalism. you want to be able to consistently rely as a candidate on the ability of the party t quarterback the campaigns. a statewide or presidential campaign will feel and they have to come in stand up on completely separate operations. point and areture we cast affected. on the house, the teacher will dccc
