[applause] and in terms of an education, and a highly competitive global economy, where we need the best educated workforce in the world, right now as the governor indicated, college is increasingly unaffordable and we have hundreds of thousands of young people who have so much to add to our country that they can afford to go to college. another kids are going to college or leaving school 40 or 50 or $60,000 in debt. i recently met with a young woman who graduated from medical school and she is $300,000 in debt. we need to make certain that every person and not just some people, every person in this country who needs a higher education should be able to get that education regardless of the income of his or her family.
