all three near term campuses, office allocation at saint luke and general plan referral at saint luke and the da that covers all the systems. at the saint luek campus, it will create the chavez medical use and would allow the floor area of ratio 2.6 to 1. it would allow a hike to 145 feet at the tour and 105 feet for the balance the campus. the map will be updated to reflect this new sud. at the cathedral hill campus, the amendment would create the medical use sub district and allow deviation from planning code through a conditional use and allow an frr for the medical office. the planning code would allow an increase to 230 feet for the hospital site and show the boundaries of this district. i'm happy to go through the planning deviation but in short these deviations are typical of deviations that are often rebelieved through a develop -- it's rebelieved through a development or various process. the staff made a decision to say it's better to incore rate it into text amendment rather than requiring one more entitlement. there's others proposed that was covered during the hearing last

i first came to saint luke's when i finished school. i graduated and didn't have health insurance and i was pretty sick and i didn't know what to do. i learned about saint luke's it where people who find themselves in my predictment go. my mom was ill and we had to take her to the er. they saved her life. it's very personal to me. the test for me has always been we want saint luke's to be a world class hospital. this dealen insures that we get that. we have 120 beds. which is a 50 percent increase from the original proposal, but more importantly, saint luke's plays a more important role as part of the larger cpmc system. cpmc by making it a larger hospital is making a real commitment to ensure this hospital will continue to serve this community for years to come. it's not just the size of the hospital but the specific requirements that i'm happy to talk to you afterwards that actually required and followed the guidelines that the law provides but also that it provides specialties and a center of excellence that is specifically outlined

saint luke's hospital will be 25 of all the cpmc. it will continue to provide the level of care with no financial conditions or projections and i think we have solved what was an issue and initiated on the side of the hospital. over and above the on going care obligation of the hospital. the agreement is $90 million for cash benefit and others related to health care, affordable housing and pedestrian safety. that's an overview of the deal and you will hear, i'm going to be to make some acknowledgements an those that negotiated the contract, the development agreement as to specifics. the process was one that i came into with somewhat or some bit of trepdation. i have been involved and know what i know from the board of supervisors from what i read in the newspapers. i was concerned about what it would be like to work with these young people who are responsible for the legislative function of our government. i also realized that by san francisco definition that i was dealing with supervisors of three different levels, left, middle and

i'm luke russert in for chuck todd. we begin with the arrest of three men in the wake of boston bombings. we want to stress none of them are accused of participating in the attack. instead they face charges for allegedly trying to help their friend accused bomber dzhokhar tsarnaev days later. the two 19 year olds from kazakhstan that went to school with tsarnaev, are accused of obstructing justice. they reached out to their friend after they saw fbi images of the bombing suspects. court documents say one of the individuals texted tsarnaev to say he resembled one of the suspects. tsarnaev responded lol and wrote come to my room and take whatever you want. the two men along with a third robel phillipos did that. they removed a laptop and backpack containing fireworks. the two men from kazakhstan admitted to throwing the back back in a dumpster later recovered from landfill. the laptop was turned over to the fbi and an attorney said he didn't realize his actions would impact the boston bombing investigation. >> he did not
