( mark ) police have identified the gunman who shot and killed a gas station clerk during a robbery attempt in antioch. the crime happened monday night. the shooter is 42-year-old zepp crouchet. police found his body early tuesday morning. they also found the gun he used in the attack. the victim is 57-year-old mohammad ataie -- a clerk at the valero gas station. on the night of the robbery -- an off-duty officer saw what was going on and confronted the thief. that officer shot him in the torso before he ran away. ( mark ) another teen mob robbery on bart... this is the second one since bart installed its new surveillance cameras. it happened last friday at the coliseum station in oakland... just before 6:30 at night. a woman says her phone was taken by a group of at least 10 teenagers. but a good samaritan chased the teens down and recovered the phone for the woman. the man was punched and kicked during in the process... officers responded

( mark ) a man is behind bars accused of molesting a child at a laundromat in the east bay. 60-year-old jose chavez was arrested in concord. police say he was caught on camera assaulting the little girl at the "coin laundry" on monument boulevard. the girl was there doing laundry with her grandmother. she didn't tell her what happened until after they left, and the grandmother then called police. ( mark ) an officer spotted chavez at a nearby shopping center and arrested him. he's being held on a one million dollars bond. ( mark ) there have been more than 100 freeway shootings in the bay area since 20-15. the majority of them happened on east bay freeways. at least eight people have been killed and dozens of others have been injured. one of the most high profile incidents happened last year, when a mother of four was shot and killed on highway four. 25-year-old shanique marie was killed in pittsburg. the california state transportation agency has agreed to build a surveillance network to help deter the violence. the network could have wireless cameras, license plate readers and shot spotters. meanwhile, the c-h-p is hoping the addition of more officers, more patrols and zero tolerance gang enforcement operations will help turn the tide. kron 4's lydia pantazes tells us what's next for patients at those clinics. this clinic here in richmond is one of three planned parenthood's that shut down. two factors lead to the closings.for years the federal government's reimbursements to planned parenthood for treating medi-cal patients has been less than what it actually costs planned parenthood to treat those patients.prop 56 -- the tobacco tax increase -- was supposed to help healthcare providers fill that deficit. however, despite the tax passing and tobacco prices skyrocketing, the state budget did not pass along the promised reimbursement funds to providers.the second factor is the republican proposals to defund planned parenthood. that threat isn't new, but both the house and senate's proposed obamacare alternatives would remove plannedparenthood funding for a year, they also propose large cuts to medicaid.a spokesperson for planned parenthood says despite the closures, they don't expect to turn patients away.those patients will be referred to nearby planned parenthood clinics that are nearby. re
