lydia?at tire while traveling on sr-24, through the caldecott tunnel. the motorist pulled over to the center median just west of the tunnels and awaited assistance. shortly after, a cal-trans tow truck driver arrived and made contact with the motorist. when the cal-trans worker attempted to get the motorist to drive his vehicle to the right shoulder, a verbal altercation occurred. at some point in the altercation the motorist drew a handgun and pointed it at the cal-trans worker. the motorist then pointed the handgun up and discharged a few rounds into the air. a friend of the motorist arrived, and they both fled the scene. chp units arrived on scene and shut down all lanes of sr-24 wb, in order to process the scene. officers went to the suspect's residence and placed him into custody without incident. the cal-trans worker did not receive any injuries as a result of this incident. ( darya ) the suspected golden state killer is now facing 4 new murder charges in santa barbara county. joseph deangelo is accused of killing 4 people in the goleta area back in 1979 and 1981. the 72-year-old is also facing 8 other counts of murder in sacramento, ventura and orange coun

lydia? at approximately 2:15, a motorist received a flat tire while traveling on sr-24, through the caldecott tunnel. the motorist pulled over to the center median just west of the tunnels and awaited assistance. shortly after, a cal-trans tow truck driver arrived and made contact with the motorist. when the cal-trans worker attempted to get the motorist to drive his vehicle to the right shoulder, a verbal altercation occurred. at some point in the altercation the motorist drew a handgun and pointed it at the cal-trans worker. the motorist then pointed the handgun up and discharged a few rounds into the air. a friend of the motorist arrived, and they both fled the scene. chp units arrived on scene and shut down all lanes of sr-24 wb, in order to process the scene. officers went to the suspect's residence and placed him into custody without incident. the cal-trans worker did not receive any injuries as a result of this incident. ( james ) thanks lydia. darya ) this week marks two years since 15-year-old pearl pinson went missing in vallejo.. her father father is now speaking publicly for the first since her disappearance.( darya ) pearl was kidnapped while she walking along an overpass.. on her way to school. police found her blood on the overpass.. and say she was dragged and possibly shot. her suspected abductor, fernando castro, died in a shoot out with officers in southern california... police found her blood in the trunk of castro's car. we spoke to pearl's sister who says a witness saw what happened.
