reporting live in san leandro, lydia pantazes kron4 news.olice are asking for the public's help in finding the driver of a car that hit and killed a 29-year-old woman back in december in san bruno. kron4's charles clifford has the details. natsthursday afternoon, the parents of 29-year-old carly flynn talked about how their daughter was the light of their lives. they describe a kind soul who loved animals and painting.sotshe was the kindest person you would ever meetback on december 19th, carly had walked from her home here near cherry avenue and san pablo avenue to get a coffee at starbucks. according to investigators, around 530pm she was crossing san pablo on her way back home, when she was struck by a mid size white suv making a left hand turn onto san pablo from cherry avenue. the driver of that vehicle then fled the scene. carly was transported to the hospital with critical injuries and died three days later. in the six weeks since her passing, investigators have not yet identified a suspect in this case. they do say that the intersect

Ñ in the south bay- today more than 500 volunteers took to the streets of san jose to help those who lost everything in this week's floods. more than a thousand homes are still in very bad shape according to emergency crews who spoke on saturday.Ñ Ñ the massive cleanup in san jose continued saturday. flood victims we talked with say the water may be gone but their life is still far from normal.sot i've been out of work for a week trying to take out all the damaged stuff.and damaged stuff there is. saturday afternoon emergency crews announced the number of homes in the affected areas and the number of homes still damaged.sot 4,554 units where in the mandatory evacuation area of this 1,335 remain restricted.saturday more than 500 volunteers hit the streets to help flood victims clean up. sot i'm expecting to see a lot of mess and hopefully when we leave it will be a lot better sot you never know when things like this are going

kron4's lydia pantazes is live in santa rosa at one of the crime scenes. hat can you tell us about the investigation. pacifica police are asking for help identifying a man who they say robbed a store at gunpoint. . it happened at a rite-aid in the fairmont shopping center. officers say the man jumped over the pharmacy counter and demanded prescription drugs. police say the pharmacist was able to distract the robber, who then ran away without taking anything. according to police the suspect is in his twenties he was described as a white man wearing a black baseball cap and a black hoodie. police say he was last seen running towards gateway drive in pacifica. officers on patrol at a popular benicia shopping center arrested a man ... after they found him driving a stolen u-haul truck. it happened yesterday on columbus parkway at the parkway plaza shopping center. these are pictures of what the scene looked like.the man tried to run from police but officers chased him down and arrested him. they identified that suspect as 27-year-old michael clancy of antioch.

kron 4's lydia pantazes shows us just how dangerous a situation this has become. the commute from santa cruz to san jose over highway 17 was a bit lighter today..but a section of the north bound lanes are still closed. crews are working to clear the mudslide that has blocked the northbound lanes off and on for more than a month. rain and dangerous conditions have delayed that work over the past few weeks. caltrans says, there is now a geologist on site to assess when it is too dangerous to work...and when crews can resume. there is still no estimate to when all lanes will be open. repairs are also still underway on highway 37 in navato. that highway has been prone to flooding this winter making it a nightmare for commuters in the area. today crews worked on building a barrier to keep water off of the road way. caltrans has not given an estimate to when that will re-open. and more rain is on the way for tomorrow... chief meteorologist brittney shipp is tracking what you need to know. happening now:a warning in the east bay for coffee shop customers...police are on
