kron 4's lydia pantazes shows us just how dangerous a situation this has become. the commute from santa cruz to san jose over highway 17 was a bit lighter today..but a section of the north bound lanes are still closed. crews are working to clear the mudslide that has blocked the northbound lanes off and on for more than a month. rain and dangerous conditions have delayed that work over the past few weeks. caltrans says, there is now a geologist on site to assess when it is too dangerous to work...and when crews can resume. there is still no estimate to when all lanes will be open. repairs are also still underway on highway 37 in navato. that highway has been prone to flooding this winter making it a nightmare for commuters in the area. today crews worked on building a barrier to keep water off of the road way. caltrans has not given an estimate to when that will re-open. and more rain is on the way for tomorrow... chief meteorologist brittney shipp is tracking what you need to know. happening now:a warning in the east bay for coffee shop customers...police are on
