there was an uber sticker and lyft sticker on the window but police say it's hard to say if the driver was carrying a fare or if he was simply driving with family members in the car. the cause of the accident is still under investigation but police say the driver of the other car took off after the accident. police were able to track him down to nearby carson elementary here in san jose where they took him to the hospital first and then later will be under arrest. he will be tested for drugs and alcohol to see if any illegal substance contributed to the collision. as police try to piece together the accident. >> so the vehicle left the scene and drove a mile, mile and a half to this location where officers located that person. and he's got injuries. so he also was transported to the hospital. >> reporter: sergeant here at the scene tells me the victims were taken also to a nearby hospital after they complained of pain but he believes all of them will be okay. again, police did clear the scene here just a short while ago and took the victim's vehicle's car away. live in south san jose,
