one analyst says get ready for macy's and nord strom stocks to drop. joins us now, joan, welcome to the show. nice to speak with you today. >> thank you. good afternoon. >> you have what amounts to the only sell ratings op macy's on the street. why did you make it? >> essentially we're at a point now where the retailers overall the department stores are coming under pressure from areas from a market share standpoint. you know, the rollout of off price and traditional off price being a big one. you've seen traditional off pricers expand their stores by 850 units, since 2009. and at the same time you've seen department stores closing their full price offerings. we think with that in mind macy's has been working on competing against some of the factors rolling out their omni channel strategy a business, they do about $1 billion in sales via on-line business fulfilled by other stores. it is a margin dilutive business at this point. makes it difficult for them to leverage expenses more so than previously. they need a 2% comp to leverage the expenses and it'
