madam speaker, i'll tell you something. as i watch what this january 6 committee has done, and the constant attack of president trump, here's what i find interesting. it wasn't too very long ago that chuck schumer stood with arable attacking the united states supreme court. and chuck schumer said, we're going to come upon you like justices kavanaugh and gorsuch, like the whirl wind. you will know, and he made threatening comments and guess what. last night there was an assassination attempt, a gentleman's been arrested for attempted murder on justice kavanaugh. and not a p.p.p., not a p.p.p. -- peep, not a peep from the president or nancy pelosi or anybody here. but you had a president who said, let's march peacefully up to the capitol. let's let them know you're here. let's fight for our rights. and somehow that's incitement. that's not incitement. but this committee that's there, mr. perry, representative perry, they don't care about the truth, they don't care about equity. and i don't even like to say that term, equity.
