you, madam hank speaker. it's wrong that republicans continue to pursue policies that clearly benefit only the wealthiest americans you, madam speaker. it's wrong that. large corporations in particular, and leaving middle class americans behind. they have undermined our health care system, raising premiums in effect on americans and increasing the costs of prescription drugs. that's the impact what this republican majority has done. at a time when we see more americans concerned about rising health care cost, we ought to be figuring out ways to work together. i know democrats and republicans could do that. but instead, the republican majority is focused on tax cuts for the wealthiest americans, biggest corporations, essentially passing huge benefits, $250 billion, to c.e.o.'s and wealthy shareholders. mostly through stock buybacks, money that does not go to america's workers. and now republicans are using their deficit exploding tax that justify huge cuts could impact medicare, medicaid, and social security.
