thank you very much, madam chair. it has taken a herculean effort to get covid-19 vaccines authorized and distribution around the country. as you heard today, it will be for not we can get -- naught if we cannot get vaccines into arms quickly. only 65% of vaccines distributive to have actually been administered. -- distributed have actually been administered. i introduced legislation to bolster capacity to ensure enough doses get in the arms of the american people. the issue of supply does not account for this large gap in doses allocated but not administered. i understand there may be reporting delays and data challenges, but thousands of americans are dying every day. i believe it is unacceptable to delay getting the vaccine. according to cdc data, louisiana administered about 71% of this data. is louisiana still holding back vaccines for second doses? >> yes, we do make sure we a lot the second doses -- allot the second doses so we have adequate supply. in terms of cdc data, it does include first and second doses.
