. >> madame walker was mainly known for being an entrepreneur, careaving her own hair line, and for being a millionaire. postas born two years emancipation. so we are talking about the throes of the vestiges of slavery and enslavement. she was the child of enslaved parents who became sharecroppers.

a lot of you have never heard of a woman called madame cj walker. i heard of her because my mother taught me about famous women. this woman was the first millionaire, multimillionaire, 1905. madame cj walker invented hair care for black walker -- for black women. she patented it. so, she made a fortune and gave a lot of it away. it is called self-made. it is on the wonderful -- let's see, it is on netflix. that's right. and then finally, you want to escape, listen, we need to. we all need to laugh. laughter is internal jogging and we need to do that. so, even if you've seen it like i have, about 50 times, see how the back of the action is funny as well as the front? what we call in film, deep focus, well, the back of it is just hysterical as well as what is going on in the front. there's a couple of girl scouts fighting. there is a love scene that is hysterical. everything about it is just satire. funny movie. really important right now. and we need to take it -- a moment of the day to at least try to get our smiles back. so, that is just one of many
