madeline miller, author of circe, thank you very much. thank you so much for having me.nto the first part of the forthcoming week. a glorious end to the day in most parts of the british isles, after a very, very acceptable sunday. one or two exceptions, here is the first, around the irish sea coast from some of the mist and fog has been really quite stubborn, but it has not been wall—to—wall. the weight towards the north—western corner of scotland, you are a bit closer to a weather front, the high pressure not doing enough to keep that offshore. so it has been a bit ofa that offshore. so it has been a bit of a nuisance there, the mist and fog still lingers through the course of the evening and overnight. but elsewhere it is a pretty still, quiet sort of night, not a cold one, although, you may be looking at around three or 4 degrees in the countryside. here are other running, bank holiday monday, a bit of a rerun, if the truth were known, of saturday and sunday. so are a lot of fine and dry weather in many inland areas. was still have the mist and murk some of these coas

madeline miller, author of circe, thank you very much. thank you so much for having me. here. notjust darren‘s sky that looking like that, many of you are enjoying a sparkling saturday. however, there are exceptions to that rule. most notably, perhaps, some, and i repeat, some of the irish sea coasts. that is the view in one or two spots. but even here, there are blue skies to be had, if you haven't got that sea mist and fog coming in and out with the tide. in and out with the breeze. the weather from across the north west of scotland more of an ever present. to give more in the way of cloud, some bits and pieces of rain as well. it will be there overnight. as we come away from that, the skies stay pretty clear across the south—east and east anglia. on the sandy soils, you could be down to two or three degrees or so. there isn't a great deal of change. we are now into sunday. still that murk a potential threat around the irish sea coast, getting up towards the solway and the eastern shores of antrim and down. more extensive rain, as the weather front closes into the nort
