and you, how did you hear of the maggie oliver foundation? how did you first get in touch? so i was actually at home one day. i was heavily pregnant and i was watching celebrity big brother. and i saw maggie go on there. i saw her little introduction and i was just in awe. i was in awe of this woman. i suddenly felt a warmth to her, and i didn't. i couldn't tell you why or explain why. i wasn't sure. i just felt a very strong warmth to this woman. and, you know, i watched her on big brother. i watched her talk about the rochdale grooming scandal, the whistle blowing and how much that she'd bought for these girls. and i watched a programme, the three girls and i player. and a few years later she was she just remained on my mind. she remained in here somehow. and so i looked her up and i sent her an email, and i just wanted to let her know what i thought. she was such an incredible woman, the work that she was doing for these girls. and i just thought how i would have loved that safe, that safe person. not in the same context, but i don't know, she just there was something ab

in my charity, the maggie oliver foundation, we are supporting survivors and victims, we have helpedr 5000 in the last five years. they are not far right extremists and speaking the truth does not make you extreme. it has shut down conversations we should have had ten or 15 years ago to prevent this problem from continuing in the way it has. i heard what lucy said about not focusing on the abusers but the criminaljustice focusing on the abusers but the criminal justice system focusing on the abusers but the criminaljustice system should be focusing on the abusers, he should not be blaming the children and writing them off, should we should be questioning why they still feel it is safe to do what they do and it is quite possibly because they feel it is a conversation nobody is willing to have. the sentences have been inadequate and all of those things need to change to ensure the victims who have come forward now get the service and are treated with kindness and compassion, with kindness and compassion, with belief. even though we may... with belief. even though we ma �* with belief.
