she faces mahlon mitchell. he's a madison wisconsin firefighter. also in this race in the lieutenant governor's recall race in wisconsin, nbc news is calling this too close to call. democrats have put four republican state senate seats up for recall. the highest profile one is the seat of this senate president. it's considered to be the most republican district in the state of wisconsin. very, very conservative district. republican scott fitzgerald is the senate majority leader. he's facts a long shot but spunky democratic challenge for lori compas. we still have 0% in. also, terry molton is facing a recall. the democratic in that case is kristen dexter. another recall is in district 21. he's the best name in all of this mess. i still have no confidence that i'm saying it correctly. he's facing a democratic challenger. the last senate recall is for a seat where the incup bent republican quit once she found out that her seat was going to be up for recall. this is a very republican district. republicans are hoping to be able to hold on. it's an open

miss kleefisch is up in the recall against this man, governor mahlon mitchell. he's the president of the wisconsin firefighters union. only slightly less obscure than rebecca for real, is another one that's going to be decided tomorrow. he's the state senate republican leader, senator scott fitzgerald, and another amazing wisconsin character. so scott fitzgerald, this guy, is the top republican in the senate, this guy who doesn't look much like him, trust me, is his brother. his brother is the top republican in the state assembly. so when republicans cleaned up in the 2010 elections, the brothers took over. scott fitzgerald took over the senate, and his brother took over the assembly. a month into that arrangement, their father, steve fitzgerald, got this wonderful new job as head of the wisconsin state patrol. huh, i wonder who else interviewed? tomorrow scott fitzgerald is one of the four republicans in the senate who is going to be up for recall. his recall election, it's important for a number of reasons. it comes with emotional as well as pragmatic conseque

[applause] i want to thank you all for your support, not just during the campaign but from last year. i want to take some time to thank some people that have not had the ability to thank for a long time. that's my family, my wife, my son, carson, my daughter. thank you. [applause] but what seems like a lifetime ago in february of 2011, every day people took to the streets of wisconsin to speak out against the surprise attack on the state and the values. the moment grew into a movement. i like to call a movement because movements end. i like to call it a way of life. because this is a way of life that we always have to keep. and we cannot let up. [applause] what's the result do not show, is what the election is all about. it's the fight. that we are in, and the fight that end today whether or not we won or lost. it is a fight we have to keep up. we cannot s

governor rebecca kleefisch. 58% reporting, 50% she has that number. 42% going to her competition, mahlon mitchell. >> now we go to mike and his update on the different counties. >> we are going to do a little bit more of that to give you an example of what is taking place at least up until this point. we are going to show you the full state of wisconsin. we have blue collars were -- blue collars for barrett red colors for walker, and green colors for trivedi. this is an idea of where we are. tom barrett is showing strength in rock county. bear with 55%. scott walker with 44%. rock county is home to james dale. it has some economic challenges right now. you can see that barrett is faring better there. if we come back over to the so-called counties -- scott walker with 73% of the votes. if you go up to washington county, just to the north, 69% of the votes counted. a worker with nearly 80% of the votes. again, another county we are keeping a close eye on, racing county only 50% counted according to our calculations. tom barrett 37%. other than the far northwestern tip of wisconsin, where democrats
