last night, scott wiener and eric mahr joined local physicians at a town hall meeting. they are sprying to build support for the 2 cents per ounce tax on soda and other sugary drinks. they say it's a promising way to fight obesity and diabetes. >> you can still buy whatever drinks you want to buy. but when you have a drink like the sodas that are so cheap and provide so much sugar to people and are giving people including kids type 2 diabetes, it's our responsibility to take action. >> now, the tax if it becomes law is expected to bring in $30 million a year for city and school nutrition, health and physical ed programs. the beverage industry calls this proposal unnecessary. they've already spent about $500,000 trying to defeat it. >>> 7:42. square, the mobile payment company, has signed a lease on its first office in silicon valley. square says having a santa clara office will help it recruit experienced tech engineers. the lease covers more than 6500 square feet on great america parkway near highway 237. square moved its corporate headquarters to a new location in san
