it was going from taipei to some islands near mainland china. just minutes after that plane took off, pilots were already on the radio yelling may day. a car's dashboard camera caught the transasia flight plummeting out of the sky. it sharply turns on its side clips an elevated highway and then crashes into the river below. slowed down, you can see the plane's wing clip a taxicab before going down. part of that wing still left on the highway. passengers who survived clung to the side of the wreckage in life vests. the plane was sinking as rescue workers helped survivors into small boats. crews pulled people out of the emergency exit doors and a massive hole in the side of the plane. hours later a crane was brought in lifted a section of the mangled wreckage out of the river. the search for 18 missing people will continue tonight. crews are continuing their search for other submerged parts of the aircraft. the driver and the passenger in the cab survived. they got hit by the wing, amazing! they were taken to the hospital, minor injuries. the pass
