as a makarov economist, i would say i found the data to be somewhat cheering.w a little more optimism. i would like to see more optimism than that. but you know, be confident and a lot of uncertainty has been a headwind for the economy over the past several years, and i think that we should be happy that any improvements we see and consistent with poles with consumers and consumers as well. just a little more confident, and i can we really need that to support our economy going forward. you know, there's this self fulfilling cycle you can get into when it comes to confidence. people think the future is going to be better than they are more welcome to go out and spend. >> did it surprise any of you? >> i wasn't necessarily surprised with the optimism. people are starting to feel like it's going to get a better for them. and that's a shift - we've seen basically in the second half of last year this past year where there's been some sense that the economy is getting better, but it left people behind and now i think people are feeling like their own economic condit
