celebrations are happening all across the bay area today, and we check in with kpix 5 's and makovec with the celebrations that just make you feel good. like i want to give a shout out to my dad, who served in vietnam. we have seen people out and about all day to honor veterans. chopper 5 over downtown san jose for the veterans day parade. we see the american flag hanging there, marching bands of course, and they had vehicles brought into her present those used in world war ii. hear some of the sites and sounds of the parade from the ground. a lot of families out there in san jose today, marking the occasion and paying tribute to our veterans of all generations. there was a pancake rockfest and performances in the parade . this was at the marina and the veterans memorial. >> there in san bruno, several turning out to cure performances including a navy band. and a series of speeches thanking those who sacrificed so much for our country. the mt. diablo summit beacon will be lit to honor veterans from sunset to sunrise, reed. >> anne, my dad served at the same time as your dad. thank yo
