i have witnessed malcolm jenkins doing a lot of good in the community. an african american man. i don't know the struggles they claim to have, the reason they are protesting. i didn't grow up you. we didn't have the same experience. it is hard to say you are wrong but a lot of people are saying we need to get to a point where we can allow these players to have conversations, allow ourselves to listen to them while having respect for the flag. how do we get to that point? >> it is an empty gesture. offend a lot of people, a lot of protesters say it is not about the flag or the military except it is because it is going on and veterans are particularly impacted by the power of the flag but there is no cut follow-up, no conversation. it is based on a falsehood. colin kaepernick says there are dead bodies in the street and people being murdered, cops are indiscriminately murdering black men. that is not happening, there are studies all over the place, that doesn't happen. harvard has a study that says that doesn't happen. there have been bad people, bad cops
