joining me now is the global head of technology investment strategy at deutsche bank, abjit malia.u.s. and china when it comes to technology. first, tell me your thoughts on tech and what has taken place here with the nasdaq close to correction territory once again. >> great to be here, maria. we spoke about china about a month ago. last week we talked about inequity in the country. i believe what's happened is the anger which has been there, we saw the globalization, the anger, the resentiment in the public is moving towards big tech. we find that two out of three americans now are unhappy with big tech. and i think that is something which is not well discounted either in markets or by political leadership. as we head towards elections, this resentiment might get on the campaigns, post election our view is no matter who wins, big tech will get more scrutiny. the last thing we see is that the e-commerce demand curve which was pulled forward because of covid, that's largely discounted in big tech. these are headwinds we see which are creating the issues we started seeing last week.
