we have an illustrious supervisor like malia cohen and mr. avalos in what he has concerning jobs and employment and all of those things. i don't think it has to be about color. what about the economic stability with people living within the bounties and what can we do to help each other? and help our elected officials and our appointed officials and all the people who count to bring revenues to san francisco? we're putting on things and our biggest goal is to make it as one of the safest places in san francisco where you can come to shop and spend your money with us and our merchants and all the different things that we want to put out there for you. we're not just putting building houses. we want skating rinks. we want bowling alleys. all the stuff you see leaving san francisco, we want that as a part of development and the part of our economic development. not just for the adults and everybody. we want something for our kids to do. so they don't have to hang out all night. they don't have to worry about joining no gang. they have plenty of

[applause] front and center. well done. very happy 100th to muni. since its first days of operation on december 28, 1912, this unique public transportation system has attracted and intrigue and amazed and served people from the city and untold visitors from all around the world. at to was the first major publicly owned transportation system in the nation and today is the seventh largest, carrying more than 200 million people a year. muni was part of the rebuilding after the 1900 sixth earthquake and served as a dynamic catalyst as the city expanded over the sand dunes and down the peninsula. songs and movies often have featured muni. i don't know if you have heard this one -- ♪ to be where little cable cars ♪ [laughter] actually, tony bennett in town a couple of weeks ago to do that song. he did a wonderful job. muni is also a system constantly position to realize its position and step forward in the new strategic p

simultaneously, they have ignored my case, sunshine case number 11048, that found supervisors eric mar, malia cohen, president chiu and others -- misconduct because all four of them have broken the law. this case was there before the mirkarimi case. furthermore, there needs to be an investigation as to why why supervisor carmen chu got a crosswalk in her district, which she did not disclose. she did not recuse yourself from the vote on that project. that was clearly a conflict of interest. the people of park merced deserve to have their case proceed as tenaciously as this one because we are entitled to equal protection under the law. this case is going to court, and i will pursue it with every spirit in my body. i implore you to not succumb to political pressure and not be used. you are intelligent human beings, and thank you. this was an item submitted by supervisor malia cohen. floor is yours. >> i am paying close attention to my cues now. thank you very much. i am brad stevens, executive director for elementary areas. i am working to coordinate our summer programming this summer. summer programming takes into account the work of a number of different apartments -- departments, inside the district and out, and draws from a variety of funding to provide programming for a broad range of use. this is a broad overview. i describe programing in five different categories to give you a sense of how the conversation of secondary summer programming fits into the broader context of what we are doing this summer for our students. you have heard previously the contributions dcyf has made to district summer programming. that has made it possible to expand credit recovery options for secondary students. but beyond the secondary programming, here is a very quick overview of the five categories of programming that we are working to coordinate across the district this summer
