that high tide that ran us off brielle road in manasquan that should recede pretty soon. the street we're on here in brielle if you look down the street, it looks slushy, that is some of those flood waters still up here but for the most part all over the area because we came from toms river, we went through brick and brielle and of course manasquan a lot of the regular roads are looking typically like this. i mean, they're slush covered, snow covered, so kind of slippery. if you get out, you know, be warned you need to drive a little careful, so the roads are looking like that except for the low-lying areas like brielle road. we'll show you that video. that street had only slush on it this morning when we first but then that bay area just started coming up pretty quickly. last night high tide here, the water rescue and firefighters came through checking on people. one lady we met today in fact this morning here in brielle she was cleaning off her car to drive over to manasquan to check out the houses she could get to. she said some neighbors called. they were evacuated so

we were in manasquan yesterday one other town they had their emergency vehicles for flood zones ready just in case they had to go in but if you just kind of stay out of those areas, those people will not have to go in and try to get you the wind is really whipping out here. we all came down from very far distances and so the roads this morning were really, really bad the plow crews were out early. i was in my car at 2:00 in the morning, took me four hours to get here on the way we saw lots of cars that were stuck in the snow drifts saw the plows trying to get around them the salt trucks out there ran into some of the guys at one of the convenience stores and they looked tired but really happy to be out there. i apologized i said i'm so sorry that i had to be out in my car this morning but i did stay out of the way it is very so many people on social media have told us they are going to stay inside that's a good thing because it is really no reason to come outlet the plow crews have the roads so they can get them ready when this storm stops now we in seaside heights stay warm, stay saf
