he vanished after leaving a pub in manayunk. monique, tell us what his family and friends are focusing on this weekend. >> reporter: there is a new focus for those folks as they search for shane montgomery, the college senior was last seen here along main street on thanksgiving morning. now, our cameras captured the search team on south street last night. we saw them handing out and posting fliers. shane's mom told us he had recently turned 21 and it was his first time out on thanksgiving eve. we also followed the same group to manayunk where shane's roommate carried a sign. shane's family says this is a new focus on this investigation and they're now appealing to college students with cellphones. >> all we need is one kid who thinks they they mow something, think they may have seen something that is not significant at the time that will point news another direction. another thing we're asking these kids on main street last week, ladd wednesday into thursday morning is if you took any selfies. look in the back ground. look for a

combing the bars and restaurants and stores here in manayunk.ust a little while ago we saw them coming in and out of restaurants here, looking for surveillance video that may show which direction shane montgomery went when he left kildare's irish pub early on thanksgiving morning. a big key in this case could be people who were here that morning who may have seen shane montgomery and saw which direction he left in. >> we don't have any information about him getting into a car. we know he didn't have a car there. could he have gotten into someone else's car? that's a possibility. we're not ruling anything out. >> reporter: it's been six days since shane montgomery vanished, last seen leaving kildare's thursday on thanksgiving morning. it's believed he was walking to his parents house. the distance is only about a mile. investigators say video collected so far doesn't show any sign of shane. >> we have to review all that video and see do we think he's on that video and sometimes that's going to involve getting those video images in front of family

fox 29's brad satin live in manayunk tonight. brad? >> reporter: lucy, the fbi at this point not confirming the existence of this video but reportedly shows shane montgomery coming out of kildare's irish pub across the street here in manayunk walking across the street heading down this sidewalk here where he was caught on video first as you see there by that video camera on the side of this building here at christie's nail salon. these angles are what the video cameras at christie's nail salon show. one camera shows the sidewalk across the street from kildare's where it's believed shane montgomery left the bar and then turned the corner and was captured on a rear camera approaching the schuylkill river and wasn't seen again. so many questions from family and friends. >> it is a mystery, and it's been going on too long now. >> reporter: it's a full two weeks now and the police department's marine unit fighting the cold and wind this morning were back at it once again following up on the latest tip dredging along the banks of the schuylk

live in manayunk, matt delucia, nbc 10 news. >>> thank you, matt. skyforce 10 was over the scene of a tractor-trailer crash in morrisville, bucks county. this is at routes 1 and 32. we're told one person had to be taken to the hospital. skyforce 10 over the scene of a two-alarm house fire in montgomery county. it broke out on 400 block of welsh road in lower moreland township just after 4:00 this morning. fire officials tell us no one was hurt. no word on a cause. >>> investigation under way into a firebombing. this happened on coulter street just before 4:00 a.m. eight people, including two young children, were inside the house. the fire chief says a man inside the home was able to put out the fire. everyone managed to get out safely. witnesses say they saw someone either drive up or walk up to the house and then toss objects and liquid onto the front porch which then caused the house to catch fire. firefighters confirmed they've been to this house before. >> we've been to this home on numerous occasions and what's going on, it's being investigated
